Our vision is to be the professional body of first choice for business administrators, managers, allied professionals such as accountants, marketers, bankers, economists, insurers, middle–level as well as executive management personnel in both the private and public sectors. We also envision to be a strong, visible and respected professional body for business administrators offering membership and qualifications that are recognized and valued for competence and professionalism.

About ICBAN

The Institute of Certified Corporate & Commercial Business Administrators of Nigeria was established and incorporated as a professional association of business administrators at all levels of certification, competence, proficiency and professional sophistication spanning both the private and public sectors of Nigeria's national economy. It is a not-for-profit professional body for business administrators. The Institute has a growing national presence with members employed in all sectors of the economy and makes significant contribution to the efficiency of every business at all levels. We are also the officially recognised professional body for graduates of business administration in Nigeria.


It was established to be a professional clearing house and certification hub for all who are and will preside or function in business management positions whether at the lower, intermediate, management or executive cadres of our business organisations.

The governing principles for ICBAN members are set out in the Professional Standards and Ethics Code. All members are expected to adhere to a high professional standard. With this in mind, the institute regularly reviews its professional standards.
ICBAN is committed to the highest professional competence and ethical standards for the business administration, management and consulting profession.
Members of the Institute must at all times comply with the content and spirit of the Institute’s Code of Ethics.
The certificate of the Institute of Certified Corporate & Commercial Business Administrators of Nigeria remains the property of the Institute and shall be returned on demand. A member may withdraw from the membership of the Institute at any time by writing to the Institute's Board of Directors and returning the membership certificate therewith.
